Good morning everyone! Tomorrow marks the start of Christmas week! Yay!
I just wanted to let everyone know that we have helped 221 kids this year and 5 senior adults. I had a goal to help 50 kids this year, but within 24 hours of putting a post up, had over 120 requests for help. I couldn’t say no to kids that needed Christmas gifts. Especially the ones asking for essentials. Soap, a hairbrush, towels, underwear, etc.
While we couldn’t have done this without every single person that send something on the wishlist, every single donor, and everyone that even just followed our page, I would like to give a special thanks to a few people. Jillian Putnamam aMoving Onward Momsms helped us get several (like 50+) kids of single moms sponsored and let us use her STUNNING Airbnb (Woodmont Manor) to hand out gifts.Hannah Watersrs aVintage Gypsy Beautyty ran a Toys for Tats toy drive that yielded 4 large moving boxes FULL of toys.
Iaccheri for cominAudra Guidryoing aSlow Hand Bakehouseowed us to get the helping hands we needed and a list of connections for next year.
Nirvana Candy Company had a box for us and collected gifts.
Audra Guidry with Slow Hand Bakehouse also had a box for us and collected gifts.
There are sooooo many others that donated LOTS from the Amazon wish list, but I know some of them wanted to remain anonymous.
I also need to say a huge thanks to my husband, daughter, sister, and my 2 best friends Dez and Dee for consistently being there for me and helping with everything that came along with this.
And last but not least, my mother in law Braddock, the head elf at elf project in North Carolina. She started this mission 10 years ago and has grown it exponentially. I am so proud of what we did this year and can’t wait to see you all next year ❤️ Merry Christmas 🎄
