Proof that creativity has no age limit! 🎨📚

Join local author and artist Maryanne VanDyke, 89, as she celebrates the release of her newest books, Hugs of Happiness and Hugs of Color, with a special gallery exhibition at Trellis&Vine Gallery in Smyrna.

View the exhibit June 17–20 and stop by the Artist Reception & Book Release Celebration on Friday, June 20, from 5–7 p.m.

Featuring whimsical artwork, playful characters, and plenty of inspiration, Maryanne's latest project is a beautiful reminder that it's never too late to try something new. As she says, "It's not your age, it's your attitude that matters most."

The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public!

The Tennessee STEAM Festival returns for its tenth year, October 9-25, 2026. Registration for this year's TN STEAM Festival is just around the corner. In fact, applications for Event Hosts and Featured Events open June 15. Examples of past events include planetarium shows, science demonstrations, tours, hikes, park cleanups, science fairs, telescope viewings, guided workshops, theater productions, lectures, movie screenings, virtual symposiums, *community art projects,* and showcases.
