I just wanted to inform everyone that our website is currently shut down. We were attacked by bots, which shut down all the sites on the server, including some businesses. So, I (DaNel) temporarily shut down this site while the hosting service works to fix the issues. The first fix did not work.

We had two pages hit with over 800,000 views in seven days. (twice) Once before the first crash and again 6 days after the first fix, and before I shut it down.

We plan to give it about 30 days with blocks to try to prevent the issues and put the site up again just before the first of the year.

Even blind Oreo saw hearts clearly!!

We at MINI’s have some heartbreaking news to share with you. On September 24, 2025, we tragically lost our beloved blind miniature horse Oreo, and one other miniature horse (Tune)was seriously injured. Oreo and Tune were attacked during the night by two roaming dogs while in their enclosed area. Our sweet Oreo died immediately from the attack, but Tune is still in critical, but currently stable condition at TN Equine Hospital. Oreo was not just the “face of our nonprofit” to us, she was also my heart horse, a best friend to Wyndi, a friend to many of you, but mostly, she inspired us, the ones that knew and loved her, to be better versions of ourselves. Even after losing her sight in 2022, she was able to adapt and showed me (Janet was her human guide) and many others to not give up when times are tough but to "get off the couch" and thrive.

Please keep us, Janet, DaNel, Charlene, Amanda, Kat, along with Wyndi, Bonnie, Joy and (Tune) in your thoughts and prayers as we grieve our loss. Oreo meant so much to not only us, but to the Visually Empowered Individuals support group and to the Blind and Visually Impaired Community.

We ask you to please help us keep Oreo’s memory alive and continue her mission to empower the visually impaired community, by sharing any sweet remembrance or picture of her with us and others. We want to create a memory book of how she helped others.

We thank you for your continued support. Please share with others how special Oreo was to you.

Run free now, sweet Oreo. You will always be remembered, always be missed, and always be loved.

Fundraiser Time
It is time for us to get ready for our 2025 Fundraiser. We will be at Cedar Glade Brews again. This year we will be having a silent Auction from 4 to 6 pm. At 5:45 pm, we will start closing out the bids and announcing winners. Please come by and show your support.
