Hopeshot Recovery Hopeshot Recovery is a recovery housing community for men and women who wish to start their recovery journey in a safe and accountable environment.

My name is Josh Floyd, and I am a recovering addict in long term recovery. Hopeshot Recovery was created in January of 2021 after a decision to pursue a life long dream of creating a stable and accountable environment for others to jump start their recovery process, just as an environment like this was available to me when I got clean and sober. I created the atmosphere of recovery in these homes as though I lived there myself. Every home has a live in house manager, mandatory curfew and UDS screenings, but most importantly, the requirement that all residents must engage in the recovery process by attending 12 step meetings, obtaining a sponsor, and working the 12 steps in the program they choose. My personal experience shows that stability and accountability are imperative at the beginning of the recovery process, so this is exactly what we offer at Hopeshot. He had to turn himself in right after he moved in, and we were waiting in the parking lot when he got out since he did the right thing. In recovery, we often speak about the principle of perseverance. This is a program participant that is also my friend named Q. Within the last 3 weeks, he welcomed his first grandson, and then one week later, he lost one of his twin sons who was on the way to his senior prom in a tragic automobile accident. Not only had he not used, but he has been open and honest with his feelings, which helps him and others. This is the spiritual principle of perseverance.
