📸 Sometimes looking backwards really does help you see the future.
Back in 2015, I was working at and led what I thought was a one-off donor experience with preschoolers.
At the time, it just felt like a really lovely day in the woods.
These photos were taken by Paul Tupper, co-founder of
I didn’t realize it then, but he captured something I hadn’t fully seen in myself yet. 🌿
The care.
The joy.
The tiny details.
The wonder in the children’s faces as we explored together.
Looking back, it feels a little wild to realize I was stepping into the work that would eventually become Tiny Green Learning, before Tiny Green Learning even had a name.
I’ve carried these photos with me for years. Through portfolios, websites, job applications… always coming back to them without fully understanding why.
Maybe because, somehow, they captured me in my element before I knew this was my calling.
💚 And in one of those really beautiful full-circle moments, Paul has shown up for me again — this time as a sponsor of Tiny Green Learning!
He saw something in me before I fully saw it myself.
So this Mother’s Day, it feels really special to return the favor.
If you’re looking for a meaningful gift for a mom you love, I can genuinely say Onda is doing beautiful work. ☕
💌 Their coffee club is thoughtful, sustainable, and feels like a little surprise in your mailbox each month (which, honestly, most moms deserve ).
Sustainable and caffeinated? That’s a love language.
Thank you, Paul, for seeing the vision — even before I did. 👐🏾 💚.
