ARK’s volunteers work tirelessly to improve animal welfare in Hart County through the spay/neuter program, the pet fostering and adoption program, TNR for stray cats, the Hart County shelter, educational outreach, and our other activities. June is "Adopt a Shelter Cat Month." We don't have a shelter in Hart County, but ARK has a busy foster cat program. Here's the latest report for the Foster Coordinator: "Here’s a sample of the 17 adoptable kittens that Dr. Green vaccinated for the foster program today!!! It takes a village!" They are not fixed yet but arrangements can be made for a purchase of an ARK voucher to be included and the kitties should stay indoors until fixed because they are breeding age.
