We got him on the bus with clothes and travel foods. Huge thanks to Muncie Housing Authority for the opportunity, Iā€™d like to thank St Vincent DePaul as well has all my volunteers and intake coordinators. We made this gentleman feel SEEN SAFE and SUPPORTED. This right here is community coming together in times of darkness. We can solve homelessness one case at a time.

šŸšØ URGENT COMMUNITY NEED šŸšØ
The Jamie Lee Resource Center (JLRC) is asking for immediate
help for a young man who traveled to Muncie, Indiana from Fayetteville, North Carolina to attend a funeral. In addition to this loss, he has recently lost his wife and is now facing multiple hardships at once.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, he is currently stranded with no way to get home to his one-year-old son in North Carolina.
A one-way Greyhound bus ticket costs $125 (plus taxes and fees), and we are working urgently to reunite him with his child as soon as possible.
ā° Time is critical.
We are seeking travel assistance, Greyhound ticket support, or someone willing to directly purchase or help arrange transportation. If you are unable to help directly, please share this post so it reaches someone who can.
