NMS to Visit Indianapolis

Principal Ben Williams and students from NMS will travel to Indianapolis for a guided tour of the Indiana Statehouse and a visit to the Indiana State Museum.

Using CREATE funds, 60-70 student leaders will gain insight into the political processes and rich history of Indiana. The field trip aligns with Indiana Social Stud- ies Standards on civics, Indiana History, U.S. History, the democratic process, and more. “The opportunity for our student leaders to see where and how the lead- ers of Indiana lead today helps our students envision how they can lead tomorrow. Thanks, CREATE, for building pathways for future generations,” Ben said.
