Cali's Cause Cali's Cause is a nonprofit organization that was set up to assist our senior citizens pay for a portion of their pet(s) medical expenses.

We never want our seniors to have to choose between paying for their own medical care or their pet(s).

This is Cali she was our pride and joy. We had her for only 2 short years. She was a rescue from the California wildfires and in December of 2019 she came down with IMT (Immune-Mediated Thrombocytopenia) which resulted in her having to have blood transfusions and 4 days in the ICU, but she still couldn't be saved. This tragic incident is what spurred Cali's Cause, because as people get into their senior years their pet(s) are a very important part of their lives and as seniors ourselves we are thankful we had the funds for Cali's treatment. But as seniors on a fixed income the cost of medical care has risen over the years due to the advancement in treatment. Please help in supporting this cause.
