Today, we celebrate 15 years of hosting people in our homes at New Earth Recovery. Our growth has been slow and steady since we opened the doors of Faith House in 2011. We now accompany residents in eight homes and have founded Recovery Cafe Skagit which invites a growing number of people into the recovering community. We continue to learn from good research, best practices, and perhaps most importantly, from the people we serve. Thanks to all our community partners and supporters for your partnership and trust. The opposite of addiction isn't sobriety, it's connection.

For years we—and people we love—were mystified about how addiction works, and why people kept falling backward despite their best efforts. Then we found the Genesis Process, one of the foundations of our recovery homes. We're doing a Genesis training from April 6-9 in Mount Vernon, WA . . . this is for people who want to take a deep dive into how addictions start and why they are so hard to break, and learn tools to walk alongside those who are struggling.
