Too many churches protect abusers and abandon victims.
We call it grace. We call it restoration. But when the system rushes to rebuild the one who caused harm and leaves the wounded unseen, it is not redemption. It is betrayal.
You cannot claim to care about healing while centering the one who did the damage.

Abuse in Churches is ONLY sustained if the sheep protect and follow the wolves.

Have the courage to ask yourselves-“ what does a wolf in sheep’s clothing actually look like”

The truth is, he looks like a good and godly Shepherd. But good and godly shepherds don’t abuse and they don’t hide secrets and they don’t demand to be in control after they fall.

What we should be protecting is the integrity that Jesus calls us too. That integrity is what will win the world to the true good Shepherd.
