Chemotherapy can make it difficult for children to stay hydrated due to nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, poor appetite, and increased physical stress on the body.
Electrolytes help maintain fluid balance, support muscle and nerve function, and aid overall hydration—making them an important part of wellness during treatment and recovery.

That's why we're grateful to include Redmond Re-Lyte Electrolytes in our KICKstart Kits for childhood cancer families. Every item is carefully selected to provide practical support throughout the journey. 🎗️

For more information about our KICKstart kits, head to the Link in our bio or comment below and I will send you the information.

❤️🥤 Feed Your Fighter Feature: “Just BEET It” Smoothie

A berry sweet smoothie packed with hidden veggie power 💪 Beets are incredible for supporting the liver — one of the body’s hardest working detox organs, especially important during treatment and recovery. And don’t forget… adding healthy fats helps the body absorb and transport important nutrients where they’re needed most!
Try adding a splash of cream, raw milk, or even chia/hemp seeds for those nourishing healthy fats 👏

Blend everything until smooth and creamy. Adjust thickness with more milk or strawberries as desired.

💡 Pro Tip:
If your little one is unsure about beets, start small! Strawberries do a great job masking the earthy flavor while still giving them those powerful root veggie benefits 🌱

Because sometimes thriving looks like sneaking liver-loving veggies into a pink smoothie and celebrating every sip 🎗️

Food is more than calories. It’s comfort during hard days, strength during treatment, and healing for the body.

Through our KICKcancER programs, we believe every child deserves access to nutrient-dense meals, healing ingredients, education for families, and support that helps them truly thrive — not just survive.

From Feed Your Fighter recipes to wellness resources and KICKstart Kits, we are committed to helping families fuel their fighters with intention and love. 💛

Because every bite matters.

Every family matters.

And every child deserves the chance to heal stronger.

Recipe below💪 Did you know that pairing healthy fats with vegetables helps the body better absorb and utilize key nutrients and minerals? 🥕🥑

Healthy fats play an important role in supporting growing bodies, brain health, hormone balance, and overall wellness — especially during treatment and recovery.
Some nourishing sources of healthy fats include:
• Grass-fed butter
• Raw/cultured dairy
• Cold pressed organic coconut oil
• Cold pressed extra virgin olive oil
• Soaked nuts and seeds

One easy way to add healthy fats to veggies is with a homemade dip! 👇

🥒 Creamy Herb Veggie Dip Recipe
• 1 cup plain Greek yogurt or cultured sour cream
• 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp dried dill
• 1 tsp parsley
• Pinch of sea salt
• Optional: squeeze of fresh lemon juice
Mix together and serve with cucumbers, carrots, bell peppers, celery, broccoli, or snap peas. Simple, nourishing, and kid-approved 💚

If you have a child currently fighting cancer and would like tools to help them thrive, we would love to bless your family with a FREE KICKstart Kit 🎗️ (you only pay shipping).

What an honor it’s been to watch Rex through this baseball season. ⚾️

A little spark of light in our childhood cancer community — truly sparking joy everywhere he goes.

Thank you to everyone who has helped make it possible for Rex to get back to doing what he loves most.

At his last playoff game, Rex had:
⚾️ 1 triple
⚾️ 1 single
⚾️ 3 RBIs
🙌🙌🙌🙌

Moments like these are bigger than baseball. They are reminders of the joy our athletes fight so hard to get back to and why we do what we do🎗️💛🎗️

Nurses Week may have wrapped up, but our gratitude doesn’t have an expiration date.
MAY is still and we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to every nurse working on oncology units who shows up day after day with strength, compassion, and steady hands. 🎗️🙏💛

Thank you for loving our children like they’re your own.

Thank you for the long shifts, the hard moments, and the invisible weight you carry—and still choosing kindness through it all.

You are often the calm in the storm, and the comfort in uncertainty.

We see you. We appreciate you. We are deeply grateful for you.

Special pictures sent in from Courtney's mama. Thank you!!
