Never Forgotten provides an opportunity for men and women in the prison system around the world to experience education of the word of God and testimonies of others via a monthly newsletter called Never Forgotten based from Deut. 31:8. The newsletter also contains GED lessons, sports updates, bible trivia, puzzles, salvation prayer, prayer request info, testimonies and is filled with lots of God’s
love and humor. We are working with a few online schools to try and provide our readers with the opportunity to get education via mail. We recognize that most people are not welcoming to assisting people that have been deemed by society to be criminals but we are not concerned with their past or their crimes. Never Forgotten started with 50 men and women and is now reaching 500 plus around the world and the number increases daily as more request come in. We also send the newsletter to family members on the outside per their request to allow them the opportunity to do the activities with their loved one on the inside together. We are striving to start a mentor program for the men and women via email, phone, letters, and visits. Our purpose is to provide them the assistance they need while they are on the inside so that upon their release they have learned new ways of life and morals. We want to strengthen the morals of those who have made bad decisions in the past. It is the goal of Never Forgotten to educate and encourage the relationship between these men and women with the public to be positive and constructive. By showing them compassion and support, we are assisting them in a positive way through this situation; which in turn will enable them to get a greater benefit from their rehabilitation. Doing this will allow them a better chance of returning to society as a productive compassionate member of society; reducing the chances of them becoming a repeat offender.
