Mid Michigan Community College German-American Friendship Club MMCC German-American Friendship Club The first official meeting will take place on Wednesday, 9th at 6 PM in Room 218 at the Pickard Campus in Mt.

The German-American Friendship club was founded by Amy Durfee, the German instructor at Mid Michigan Community College, Philipp Leyerer, a German native and a MMCC student, and Frank Taylor, who lived in Germany for 22 years and is a student at MMCC as well. The Friendship Club brings Germans and Americans in the community together to exchange culture and life experiences and make lasting friends.

The Club always has something going on so that members can learn more about the German culture, German-American relations, and have fun! The clubs plans to have special events such as trips to Frankenmuth, movie nights and game nights, cookouts, and have guest speakers. The club is not just only for students, but also for community members, who would like to learn more about the German culture or who would like share their experiences and stories. The German-American Friendship Club would like to invite MMCC students and community members, who are interested to learn more about the German culture.
