Mid Michigan Quilter's Guild

Mid Michigan Quilter's Guild Our guild meets at 7pm on the fourth Tuesday of the following months: April, May, June, July, August

The Mid Michigan Quilt Guild began in 1986 with a group of women interested in quilting and assembled in response to an ad placed by Linda Hall. The group shared ideas and decided to meet again and form a quilter's association. Linda began printing and distributing a newsletter and in the spring of 1986 meetings were held and officers elected.

I would like this would anyone else. We could do it on demo night next year.

Our Story

The Mid Michigan Quilt Guild began in 1986 with a group of women interested in quilting who responded to an ad placed by founding member Linda Hall. The group shared ideas and decided to meet again and form a quilter's association. Linda began printing and distributing a newsletter and in the spring of 1986 meetings were held and officers elected. Since that time the guild has grown in membership and now has approx. 100 members who gather monthly to socialize, learn, and share their love of quilting. Meetings are held at 7pm on the 4th Tuesday of the month April through November, and take place at the Isabella County Commission on Aging. Each meeting features a presentation, along with time for snacks and socializing, member show-and-tell, and various project updates. Occasionally the guild hosts classes, quilting bees, shop hops, and other fun activities. The guild also sponsors two quilt retreats each year, and gathers for an annual charity sewing project bee on National Quilt Day in March. Dues are $20 per year, and all are welcome to come to a meeting to see what its all about!
