Healthy Kids Running Series - Mount Olive, NJ This 5 week running series held in the spring and fall will introduce kids from pre-K through 8th grade to the healthy and fun world of running.

The Healthy Kids Running Series is a five week running program for kids from Pre-K to 8th grade. Kids will compete each week of the Series for a chance to earn points, and at the end of the Series the top boy and girl with the most points in their respective age division will receive a trophy. It doesn't matter how fast or slow each runner is, as all participants will receive a medal for their achievements.

Hey everyone,

Due to the combination of cool temperatures and possible rain, we're going to cancel today's races. I don't want to have kids catching a sniffle and having to take COVID tests for school because it's 2021.

I am away next week, so our next race will be on 10/24.

Hi everyone,

First, thanks so much to all the families and runners who made this Spring season happen. It was such a thrill to see all the kids compete all season, and they all improved so much from week to week! Racing in-person again, after the year we all endured in 2020, was truly a gift. I hope you all had as much fun as I did!

If you were not at the race on 5/23 to get your medal, I will be at Turkey Brook Park at 2:30pm this Sunday, 5/30 for about a half hour. You can come pick up your medal(s) then, unless we already agreed to other arrangements. I will also be selling extra series t-shirts for $10, as we will be getting a new design for next season.

Keep a look out for announcements regarding fall sign-ups over the summer; expect racing to resume in a normal fashion mid-to-late September. I'm looking forward to seeing all of you, and more, again in a few months.

For now, have a great, healthy, active Summer! I can't wait to hear how everyone acted on our Get Up and Go mantra from this year!
