Join us on February 28th for our second annual event, Lebo Celebrates Black History: Honoring Legacy, Inspiring Action, presented by Lebo Coalition. This free, family-friendly event invites attendees to explore, celebrate and connect through education, food, fellowship, and fun!
Program
11:30am: Doors Open
Noon - 2 pm: Keynote speaker Dr. Chuck Herring, with music and spoken word from the Mt. Lebanon High School Black Student Union and remarks by Dr. Rueben Brock
Noon - 2pm: Free children’s celebration with interactive arts & crafts
2-4pm: Vendor and Advocacy Fair, featuring over 15 local organizations and Black-owned businesses and a Little Free Library
2 - 4pm: Carnegie Museum of Art presents free hands-on screen printing, photos, and collage
2:30pm: Chef Claudy Pierre presents a taste of Black History with free, delicious small plates
2:30pm: The Center of Life presents performances COL Jazz and The KRUNK Movement
