I really don't know how to begin telling you all about this dog so that you will understand what a gem he is! It's always difficult to find the right words to "paint a picture" of just how great a dog is....and, sadly we are reliant on the written word to get the message out about our boy Pops!
It is my hopes that with this page you can begin to FOLLOW AND TO SEE what I'm trying to say!
His story isn't really so different than many dogs who have found themselves unwanted and in shelters. What struck me when it came to taking Pops into our rescue was the fact that he's such a deserving guy!
Oh I know so many are more than deserving and should not be in such situations, but Pops has been waiting patiently a long long time now. He's such a shelter favorite that every week he's been taken to the adoption events because they love him so much....and, every week he watches his friends all get adopted while he continues to get overlooked. It's heartbreaking....and yet, he continues to be the happy go lucky Pops! Week after week, meeting other dogs, meeting kids, meeting people - getting pats and some hugs, but never a home! At the end of each event, he willingly goes back into the crate and heads back to his kennel, still the happy go lucky POPS that he is.
It's my mission to spread the word. I'm convinced that once the news about Pops is spread there WILL be a home for him...There WILL be a family for him.
So maybe it's you? And, if it isn't, maybe you can help me spread the word so that person who is out there that needs a pup like Pops as much as he needs a family like them will see him and they will find each other.
