My daughter is such a social butterfly. In the right environment, I like how quickly and easily she makes friends 💖 being in the right environment is key.

I am a parent that picks and chooses who her friends are. Good influences only! Sweet children only 🧚‍♀️💖

Happy Friday 🌷 Here’s a protection prayer for those of us with soft hearts, that are being bullied and having to stand up against confusion, slander, or misrepresentation.

For my entire life, I’ve always been bullied by people mainly for being neurodivergent, I am misunderstood. I have also always been bullied for my softer nature. I’ve always been timid and have never been the type that likes to seek revenge or do things back to people. That’s always been a hard task for me. So prayer has always been my go-to. Here I’m sharing one of my favorite scriptures in hopes that this can help anyone else that is in need.

I’m a very misunderstood woman, but I homeschool because I know the intelligence capacity that runs in my family. I’m a sufferer of ADHD and I know the way I learn is not the way other people learn. I notice that my daughter learns in the way that I learn, so I cater to her learning style. Public school doesn’t do that.

I want my daughter to have a chance at learning efficiently and being advanced with no distractions. I don’t want our neurodivergence to be an obstacle for her. Especially with her being a black girl, I don’t want her being limited and discouraged early. I want her to excel and be so advanced that she gets accepted into Harvard or another Ivy League College like our cousin did. I know the dedication it takes to get into such schools because our cousin Valonda did it so I aim to nurture Mandy so well that she accomplishes that.

I’m no longer allowing people’s minds to fill in the blanks about me. Being discreet and private doesn’t always work for me, because people fill in the blanks with nasty rumors when it comes to me.

There are so many negative perspectives & conclusions that people jump to about me. Which can cause me a great deal of stress.

So I’ll be sharing a lot more of our actual family life, style, culture and ways so that people can see me for themselves.

Mandy does so well in 1st grade English. She’s reading and completing sentences. Here’s some examples of how well she’s doing in English, which has come a long way. She went from attending speech therapy, to completing the program, to now excelling in English.

Baby girl is absolutely learning a lot. High quality homeschooling is what we do and she’s able to learn distraction free. We keep her socializing for subjects like music, art, PE and field trips.
