What a great day! Terry got the chance to make one of his dreams come true by speaking at Mount Clemens HS to a group of young men. He was able to share his story, his experiences, in hope of helping even one person make different decisions than he did at that age.

It’s been such a privilege to be a part of this cohort! We have learned so much in such a short amount of time, and have made some very valuable connections along the way!  Thank you, Laura Kropp, Mayor of Mount Clemens and Judge Carrie Lynn Fuca for recommending this cohort to us!

Over the course of the spring session of our Nonprofit Accelerator, we will be proudly showcasing our participants. This week, we'd love to introduce you to MIP Michigan!

Motivational Inspirational People brings hope and support to individuals facing adversity. Through outreach initiatives such as coat drives and community events, the organization provides essential items, including winter clothing and meals, to people in need. Motivational Inspirational People seeks to uplift individuals and families by offering compassion, encouragement and practical support, while fostering a culture of dignity and respect for people of all backgrounds and circumstances.

They are in!!! You can show everyone you are a MIP too, with your very own MIP backpack! Each backpack purchase of $10 will help us fund upcoming give back events. Such as helping us purchase food for our MIP Summer BBQ, which you will all be invited to!

Hello- another “up close and personal” post from Donna….

As you saw with my last post, I was struggling with my own demons; well another thing was added to my plate.

On 4/9, I had to take my Mom to ER due to diagnosis of a blood clot and upon further testing, a mass was found. Biopsy was performed 4/21 and she was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of lymphoma on 4/28.

Mom has lived on her own and been independent for 36 years but on 5/3, I had to bring her to my place to stay for my care. Amazing what your mind can do to your body.

I don’t think it will be long, since she declined chemo and I already had to call in hospice this week.

We all deal with struggles of our own and we never realize that “we got this,” until it happens.
