Did you know: WinShape College is a scholarship program started by Truett and Jeannette Cathy in 1984.

When Truett and Jeannette were visiting Berry, Gloria Shatto, Berry’s President at the time, gave the Cathys a tour of the campus and after taking them to Mountain Campus and exploring the surrounding buildings and beautiful campus grounds, Jeannette’s very words were, “I feel like I am standing on Holy Ground.”

Berry College is one of the largest college campuses in the world! With 27,000+ acres, it’s the perfect place to grow in knowledge, community, and purpose. And, it’s the home of our WinShape College Program.

We can’t wait to welcome all our WSCP student’s back on August 19 for move-in day! 🎉

We recently welcomed our new class of 32 first-year students for their very first catalytic event: FreshThing.

Throughout the weekend, students began building meaningful relationships with the classmates and staff they’ll walk alongside over the next four years. Together, they dove into the heart of the College Program through worship, reflection, community, and plenty of fun—all centered around discovering their identity in Christ.

As they begin this journey, join us in praying for deep and lasting connections, hearts ready for growth, and lives firmly rooted in Him. We’re expectant for the fruit God will bring in and through this class during their College Program experience!

The WinShape College Program began in 1984, our first ministry, created to develop young leaders for future success. (Or as our founder S. Truett Cathy said it, to “shape winners,” hence the name WinShape.)

Today, we’re still firmly rooted in Truett’s original intent and purpose. The College Program exists to help students discover and flourish in their God-given identity, and as John 15 reminds us, we grow and thrive most when we’re abiding in Christ, our only true source.
