**SAD UPDATE: DESPITE SOMEWHAT STABILIZING LAST NIGHT LILLY’S POOR BODY WAS JUST TOO WEAK TO KEEP GOING. SHE PASSED AWAY A SHORT WHILE AGO. WE HAVE ASKED THE VET TO DO A PRIVATE CREMATION SO THAT HER ASHES CAN BE RETURNED TO HER OWNERS. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO TRIED TO HELP HER AND TO EVERYONE WHO CONTRIBUTED TO HER CARE**

**EMERGENCY INTAKE THIS AFTERNOON**

Poor Lilly…at five years old she quit eating 3 days ago. She has been drinking water but has been lethargic and vomiting yellow liquid. Today her owners reached out to us to surrender her to our care so that she could receive vet attention.

Upon getting to the vet, Lilly was diagnosed as septic with a lot of infection in her stomach. A blood test revealed that her organs are stable and not shutting down, so we will continue to fight with Lilly in the hopes that she will get better. She is currently hospitalized and receiving continued care.

Please keep Lilly in your thoughts at this time. We do not know what the outcome will be but we will certainly put 100% effort behind helping her. Lilly has a foster home waiting for her if she is able to pull through.

This sweet, senior, Mtn Curr is soon to be without a home, through no fault of his own. He's house trained, good with other dogs, and just loves being with his people. He's currently 10 years old.
