Exhausterwhelmulated:
When your brain has too many thoughts, your body feels tired for no reason, your notifications make you mad, and hearing “hey, can I ask you something?” feels like a personal attack.

It’s being overwhelmed, overstimulated, emotionally drained, and exhausted all at the same time.

Basically at the point where you need a nap, a weekend alone, and somebody to Venmo you for your suffering.

“It’s not charity… it’s food.”

That line hit me hard.

Because I’ve lived on the side of needing help. I know what it feels like to just try to make it through a season… and to hear the comments that come with it.
The “why can’t they just…”
The “I don’t understand how someone lives like that…”

That kind of stuff stays with you.

But what I’ve learned is this…
a lot of times, it’s not about not caring.
It’s about being overwhelmed.
It’s about life piling up faster than someone can carry it.

We have to meet people where they are, not where we expect them to be.

People are the experts of their own story.

But sometimes they don’t know what’s available…
how to access it…
or what will actually work for them.

And that’s where we come in.
Not to take over.
Not to decide for them.
But to walk alongside them.

I’m so grateful for the people and organizations that step in every day. That matters.

But basic needs like food, shelter, stability… even gas to get to work or the doctor… shouldn’t feel like a constant tradeoff.

It shouldn’t be a rob Peter to pay Paul situation just to get through the week.

At the core of it, this is about people helping people.

And maybe the goal isn’t just to keep filling the gaps…
but to figure out how we close them, together.

People are not their hardest season.
Let’s lead with understanding.

A Big Elephant Thank You to Olive Branch Ministries 💛

What Jerrell and Carmen Anderson have done in such a short time is something special. They didn’t just renovate a building… they’ve created a place where people can gather, connect, and grow.

And the HUB… that’s a big deal. Creating a space for nonprofits to come together, share resources, and truly serve the community side by side is something Moultrie needs. That kind of vision matters.

From the events you’ve hosted to the way you’ve poured into this community, it’s all rooted in faith, purpose, and love for people.

Thank you for opening your doors, for your support, and for always giving the glory to God.
Moultrie is better because of you.

I’m grateful, and I’m excited to see what’s ahead.
