We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to empowering women in all aviation career fields and interests.

The Bayou Beacons Chapter of Women in Aviation International is deeply honored to announce the first application cycle of the Taylor Dickey Rising Wings Scholarship. 🕊️✈️

This scholarship was created to memorialize Taylor’s incredible impact on our Gulf Coast aviation community. We are so grateful to her parents, our generous contributors, and our dedicated members for making this tribute possible.

Meet our vice-president Cinnamon Snyder

She has been a WAI member for 2 years and is the Airport Director at Trent Lott International Airport. She is dedicated to providing opportunities for kids and teenagers to become involved in all parts of aviation. As vice-president, she is great at networking within the aviation community and coming up with ideas to promote our chapter.

Ohana is the foundation of her life. She enjoys spending time with her husband and adult children. She enjoys golfing, travelling and spending time on the beach. 🏝️
