What a SUCCESSFUL canning workshop!!! 🫙🍅

Thank you to everyone who came out, learned, laughed, and got their hands busy preserving a little piece of the harvest! There's just something special about passing down these old-fashioned skills and keeping them alive in our community.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make it possible!! A special thank you to Saldana Farms for the beautiful tomatoes and Bowmantown Ruritan for allowing us to utilize the space!! We hope everyone left with some new skills, good memories, and a few jars you're pretty proud of.

Don't forget, our next workshop is APPLE BUTTER in October! 🍎🧈 Trust me, you DO NOT want to miss this one!! We'll be sharing more details soon, so keep an eye out on Facebook for registration!

Just a reminder that our Sauce & Salsa Workshop is TOMORROW for those who have registered!!! 🍅🌶️

We provide the jars, lids, canning supplies and equipment, along with tomatoes, fresh onion, garlic, peppers, herbs, salt and sugar.

If you'd like to add anything extra to your individual jar (mushrooms, etc.), be sure to bring it with you, and if possible, bring a kitchen knife you're comfortable using.
