Foraging this morning reminds me that nature is like a strong willed child; the more you try to control the more difficult it becomes. If you let it be free to become, it rewards you with beauty and abundance.

What an incredible workshop day! 🌿🧼 🧽

We had an amazing time learning how to make all natural soaps using nourishing oils, fresh botanicals, and a little bit of chemistry while safely working with lye. Participants also got hands-on creating DIY lip scrubs and discovering all the versatile uses for natural loofah sponges!

From mixing and pouring to customizing scents, textures, and ingredients, everyone left with new skills, handmade products, and plenty of inspiration. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made this workshop such a fun and successful experience! We would also like to thank Bowmantown Ruritan for their continued support!! 💚

Nothing beats learning old-fashioned, natural living skills and creating something useful with your own two hands.

Important Workshop Update 🌧️🍞

This was not an easy call, but due to incoming inclement weather, we’ve made the decision to reschedule our Dough Workshop originally planned for this Sunday.

👉 New tentative date: March 1st
This date is pending Bowmantown Ruritans’ schedule and also our Foundation’s calendar, as we are hosting other workshops between now and March.

For those who’ve already paid or reserved a spot, here’s how we’re handling it:
1. All payments will be honored and applied to the new date
2. All token holds will be honored
3. Refunds will be issued upon request

We truly appreciate your understanding and flexibility. We’d much rather gather when roads are safe, ovens are warm, and no one is white-knuckling it through sleet to learn dough science.

More details coming soon. Thank you for supporting our Foundation and workshops, we’re grateful for you!!!
