First of all, we would like to thank all of our participants this year who performed for the BYTS—Quarantine style show! We love your passion for St. Jude and for helping raise money for the kids!

And to announce the participant who raised the most money in our fight against childhood cancer....Madeline Locke!!! She raised $1030!!! Thank you for helping those in need!! ❤️❤️

The Backyard Talent Show was started 13 years ago in a small backyard in Morton, Illinois by 2 families who wanted to help find a cure for childhood cancer. These four young girls called upon friends and community to use their talents to raise money for an amazing cause.

That small backyard soon grew too small and the event was moved to Idlewood Park in Morton, Illinois. The two families worked to get their hometowns involved and the event has evolved into a fundraising competition of sorts between Washington and Morton, Illinois.

These amazing kids have raised almost $180,000 for St. Jude since it began! It’s all about kids helping kids!
