We are delighted to announce that Alan R. Hoffman, lawyer, historian, author, and president of the American Friends of Lafayette, will give a short talk: “History is Made-Lafayette’s Arrival at Morristown on May 10, 1780” at the Sansay House, part of Morristown Living History Weekend. The arrival of Lafayette at the Ford Mansion was an important turning point in the war. France pledged to send soldiers, armaments, ships and cash to the colonies!
