The Patriots Ball: A Night Honoring George Washington

Step into history and celebrate the 250th anniversary of our nation’s founding at the Morris County Patriots Ball Honoring George Washington.

Held under a tent at Morristown National Historical Park, this elegant evening will bring together community leaders, history supporters, and guests for cocktails, dinner, and dancing in honor of the legacy of General George Washington and Morris County’s central role in the American Revolution.

Lafayette-Nous voici. American Friends of Lafayette members from New Jersey visiting the resting place of the General, noting the new plaque and flowers recently placed by a group of AFL members. A solemn place and site important to history. 🇺🇸🇫🇷

This past summer Morristown celebrated the Marquis de Lafayette and French support of the American Revolution. Don Juan de Miralles-a Spanish merchant and arms dealer, confidante and friend of George Washington, will be featured in a talk on Spain’s support of the Colonists. 🇪🇸🇪🇸. Details: Sunday, November 2nd at 4 pm at the Glenbrook Brewery. De Miralles was in Morristown in April 1780 visiting the Ford Mansion when he died of a fever and was buried in Morristown.
