I am so excited to announce that Maple & Spruce is now offering music for young children! We have Music Together, which is live for registrations and will have free demo classes on Thursday September 3rd and Saturday September 5th! You can save your spot in the demo class here:

We are also launching our Maple & Spruce Suzuki School, which includes both guitar and violin! These include private lessons with our talented and Suzuki Association certified teachers, recitals, and future group classes.

Insider peek at what classes are like at Maple & Spruce! Thank you to my lovely students for being on camera :) Maple & Spruce is a beautiful reclaimed church, and inside there is a dedicated studio room, set up specifically for crafting. Teaching is always positive, supportive, and inclusive to different learning styles. We have had a wide variety of crafters and non-crafters, anyone can do it and everyone can have a fun relaxing evening of making stained glass with friends 💕

Tomorrow from 2-5pm Maple & Spruce is hosting an old time jam! Come by and learn a tune or share a tune, try out a new instrument, or just come and listen. It is likely to be a smaller, more low-key jam tomorrow, so if you are nervous about playing with others this is a great opportunity to try jamming in a chill and inclusive setting! 🎻🎶

I am so excited to announce that Micro Macrame Jewelry classes are here! Our first round of classes is for TryIt Bracelets, anyone can learn to make lovely boho jewelry with real gemstone beads. If you love it we will also have a Studio Series, where you can make all sorts of advanced patterns, coming later this fall!

I just opened up my first intermediate stained glass class: Stained Glass Pumpkins!! I just love making these, they are so fun! In this one-session class we will learn to incorporate wire wrapping and beads into our projects, as well as practice cutting concave curves. If you have taken a stained glass class with us before, this is a great way to build on your skills and learn something new. Also the class is just in time for your pumpkin to become fall decor 🎃

Maple & Spruce will be closed this Saturday August 1st to support Blackberry Fest. Come see us there! It is at our home, 370 Kisner Hill Rd, Fairmont, WV, from 4pm-7pm August 1st. U-pick blackberries, crafts, pie, blackberry lemonade, blackberry jelly, and more! Pay what you can by donation, 100% of funds raised go to supporting backpacking trips for Mountain Stewardship and Outdoor Leadership School.
