🎉 What a Year! 2025 Recap from 100+ People Who Care Morgantown 🎉

As 2025 comes to a close, we’re blown away by the generosity, heart, and impact of this incredible community. 💙 Together, we’ve made a powerful difference—one meeting, one check, and one cause at a time.

Here’s a look at what YOU helped make possible this year:

✅ Q1 – $2,350 to Catholic Charities Warming Shelter
Providing immediate support to those in need at Hazel’s House of Hope.

✅ Q2 – $2,400 to Sleep in Heavenly Peace (Mon County Chapter)
Helping ensure no kid sleeps on the floor in our town with beds built for local children.

✅ Q3 – $800 to Tygart Valley United Way Flood Relief
Assisting recovery efforts and supporting communities affected by devastating floods.

✅ Q4 – $2,500 to Morgantown Community Kitchen
Funding hot, nutritious meals served with dignity to our neighbors in need.

📊 Total Donations in 2025: $8,050
Every dollar was locally focused and immediately impactful.

👏 Thank you to all of our members—new and returning—who continue to show up, give generously, and make Morgantown stronger through every act of kindness. Your contributions ripple far beyond what you can see.

🍽️ Serving Hope, One Meal at a Time! 🍽️

We’re proud to announce our latest donation of $2,500 to the Morgantown Community Kitchen, a remarkable local organization that has been serving free lunches to those in need since 1984! ❤️

Located at Trinity Episcopal Church (The Red Door Church) at the corner of Willey and Spruce Streets, the Morgantown Community Kitchen is an independent, non-denominational, non-profit providing nutritious meals in a safe, clean, and uplifting environment—Monday through Friday.

The kitchen is managed by a passionate Board of Directors composed of community members, and relies entirely on local support from charitable foundations, civic groups, churches, and individuals like YOU.

👏 Because of your generosity, this $2,500 donation will help provide essential meals to those who need them most—right here in the Greater Morgantown area.

📸 Check out the photo of the check presentation and join us in celebrating yet another example of what happens when community comes together with purpose and heart.

✨ Stay tuned for the announcement of our next gathering! We’ll be sharing the date and location soon, both here on Facebook and at 100pluspeople.org. You won’t want to miss your next chance to make an immediate and lasting impact.

Another Impactful Donation! 🎉

We are excited to share that 100+ People Who Care Morgantown has donated $2,400 to the Monongalia County Chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) for Q2 of 2025! 🛏️💙

SHP’s mission is simple and powerful: No kid sleeps on the floor in our town! Their volunteers build and deliver beds to children in need throughout our community.

This contribution was presented to Mr. Rob Comber, Chapter Co-President of SHP Monongalia County, alongside Dr. Fred Gabriel from Mon Health Medical Center (left), and David Goldberg, Founder of 100+ People Who Care Morgantown. 📸

The donation will go directly toward providing materials and support for upcoming bed builds—ensuring that more local children have a warm, safe, and comfortable place to sleep. 💤❤️

🎉 Happy New Year from 100+ People Who Care Morgantown! 🎉

As we bid farewell to 2024 and welcome 2025 with open hearts, we’re incredibly proud of the impact we’ve achieved together.

🌟 Milestone Moment:
This year, your generosity has helped us surpass $45,450 raised for local causes since our first meeting in July 2019! With our 4th quarter winner, RDVIC, we’ve continued to make a tangible difference in the Greater Morgantown area.

From missed meetings during challenging times—like March 2020—to the unwavering support you’ve shown year after year, your dedication is nothing short of extraordinary. Together, in 2024 alone, we’ve donated over $13,000 to support vital organizations in our community.

💖 Every member of this group has made an impact far greater than they may ever realize. The lives you’ve touched and the hope you’ve shared will leave a lasting legacy, even if those you’ve helped may never have the chance to thank you in person.

This is our time. This is our thank you.

Let’s make 2025 our best year yet! Mark your calendars:
📅 January 20, 2025
