🎉 Exciting news! Barbara Wetsig-Lynam, our President & CEO, has been appointed to the Western Piedmont Council of Governments' CEDS Committee, helping shape the region's 2026–2031 Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy.

This plan will guide long-term economic growth across Alexander, Burke, Caldwell, and Catawba Counties — and we're proud to have Barbara's voice at the table representing Burke County and our community's interests.

This year, the Community Foundation of Burke County proudly awarded 94 scholarships totaling $159,850 to 74 deserving students (39 of whom are pictured below).
