What is the Coyote Valley Conservation Areas Master Plan (CVCAMP)?
The Open Space Authority is planning the future of more than 1,600 acres of protected land in Coyote Valley - and your voice matters! Now is your time to view early design ideas for restoring nature, supporting local farms, and creating new places for people to enjoy nature. Now we need your feedback.
What’s Being Considered
New trails and connections to nearby open space and parks.
Better access to nature, including trailheads close to VTA bus routes.
New public destinations with views, gathering areas and nature play for children.
A farmstand and spaces that support local agriculture.
Major habitat and floodplain restoration to protect wildlife, prevent wildfires and reduce downstream flooding near homes.
Possible New Destinations
Wetland views, seating, and educational features.
A hilltop trail with 360‑degree views of Coyote Valley and gathering space.
New visitor areas, trails, nature play and places to learn about farming.
Supporting small, local farmers and environmentally friendly farming operations.
