The Morgan Hill July 4th parade and all Freedom Fest celebrations date back to 1876 and are brought to you by a group of volunteer citizens with the support and assistance of individuals and corporate sponsors. The City of Morgan Hill is one of the only two cities in the San Francisco Bay Area that continues to have all day events surrounding the Fourth of July Holiday. Our Independence Day Celebr

🎶🇺🇸 Is your child interested in making new friends, having fun, and learning songs that celebrate America? Join the Freedom Fest Patriotic Sing Choir and bring a friend along!

Open to students entering Grades 1–6 this fall, the Patriotic Sing is a cherished Morgan Hill tradition culminating in a special performance on July 3.

📅 Rehearsal Schedule:
• June 2 – Grace Hill Church, 6:30–8:00 PM
• June 9 – No Rehearsal
• June 16 – Grace Hill Church, 6:30–8:00 PM (T-Shirt Order Due)
• June 23 – Community & Cultural Center, 6:30–8:00 PM
• June 30 – Community & Cultural Center, 6:30–8:00 PM
• July 2 – Community & Cultural Center, Dress Rehearsal
• July 3 – 37th Annual Patriotic Sing Performance, 6:00 PM

This year also marks a special transition. After more than three decades of leading the Patriotic Sing, Karen Crane is stepping away due to medical concerns. We thank Karen for her incredible dedication and are grateful that Teresa Liensdorf and her family, along with many wonderful volunteers, are helping continue this beloved tradition. As Karen says, “The show must go on!”

We are thrilled to announce that Fireworks on the Green, which opens at 3pm on July 4th, is now going to have 2 jump houses (an obstacle course for the older kids and a traditional jump house for the little ones) AND a 9 hole miniature golf course from Silicon Valley Mini Golf!

Hey Kids! How would you like to learn the songs of America, ride on a float in our Freedom Fest Fourth of July Parade, make new friends, and honor those who serve? You’ll do all of these, and more, if your join our Freedom Fest Patriotic Singers!

Children entering grade 1 and above are welcome. Sounds good?

Our first rehearsal is next Tuesday, May 26, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Grace Hill Church. All rehearsals and performances are free. Bring a sweatshirt, picnic blanket (we sing on the lawn), and get ready to sing with JOY!
