FROM ADMIN - PLANTING TIME :
Hi everyone

There will be plants available for your planters on August 16th and 17th.

Please pick up plants in the cultural center parking lot, near 5th street, between 8 and 10 am.

Let me know if you will pick up on Friday the 16th or Saturday the 17th. I need to know by the Tuesday the 13th.

If you can not pick up at those dates and times, we can arrange another time.

If you can no longer participate in the Adopt-A-Planter program, please let me know so I can find an adopter for your planter box.

I noticed many of the planter boxes have been w**ded. Thank you to who ever has taken on that task.

I hope the plants we get will survive the heat. Most of the planters are getting enough water, but so many days of high temperatures is a problem.

Make sure when you plant to give the new plants lots of water to get them started.

Let me know if your planter needs soil.

Look forward to seeing you all soon

Susan

Hi All

It is time to plant the down town planters . The w**ds have loved all this rain so many of the planters are covered in w**ds. I think some of you have been w**ding and your planters look pretty good. I do not know what we will be getting for plants. We will leave in succulents, if they have survived the heavy rain and frost.

Plants will be available for pick up
Friday April 14th and Saturday April 15th
8-10 am

Parking lot of cultural center, near 5th street

We realize that this is Easter weekend. Hopefully you can pick up, even if you can't plant right away. Please let us know which day you can pick up. If you can not pick up either of those days let us know and we can arrange something.

If you can no longer participate in the Adopt-A-Planter program please let us know so we can find someone to take over your planter.

See you soon,

Hi all

Because of the extreme heat this summer, we decided just to go with succulents that were already in planters and not add any flowers. Some of the planters look ok and even have some of the fibrous begonias still blooming. Some look bad and are very dry or full of w**ds.

We lost 5 more planters on the corner of 2nd and Monterey, where a new building is going in. I will try and find planters for everyone when I schedule for next planting.

Hoping to plant cyclamen in November, if all goes well.

If you have time, please w**d and clean up your planters as we will not be planting until mid November.

Please let me know if you can no longer participate in the Adopt-A-Planter program.

Email if you have any questions [email protected]

See you in November

Susan
