Case With Riverside County Animal Control/Moreno Valley Animal Shelter Has Been Finalized!!

The Rescue Staff/Board Members Suffered Through Slander/Harrassment/False Allegations/Distress Due To This Trial, & Even Before This Trial Happened Suffered Severe Exhaustion, Emotional Breakdowns, Personal Financial & Health Issues, Lack Of Respect From Many That Took Various Advantages Of Programs We Provided, Resources, and Of Staffs Personal Life As Well.

We Will ALWAYS Fight And Show Our Transparency and Efforts For Animal Welfare And Advocacy, Because This Is Still & Will ALWAYS Remain Our Number 1 Priority, Animal Rehabilitation & Welfare Is So Crucial & The Voiceless Need The True AnimalAdvocacy Community So That
REAL HOARDERS/ANIMAL CRUELTY/ANIMAL ABUSERS Will Be Prosecuted To The Full Extent Of The Law!

Court Found Us Guilty Of Misdemeanor For Overcount Of Animals Upon Property ONLY!

Judge Hale Has Given Us 1 Year (Forced Vacation As She Put 😆) Of Inactivity & No Animals On Property So That We May Recoup & Discuss If We Choose To Continue Rescue Work We Provided In Past.

NO! Animal Abuse Or Neglect/Cruelty Charges

(Court Public Records Shows Full Documentation And Decision)

The Animal Control Video Footage, Along With Intake Photos Of All Siezed Animals From Shelter Directly + Our Own Photos/Videos, Testimonies, amd Witnesses, Have Shown That We Simply Were Not Receiving Adequate Help From Our Community In Terms Of Fosters/Etc For All The Canines/Felines.

We Are Glad That This Will Show The Oppurtunity For Change Within Our City Sustem For Animal Welfare Is Desperately Needed, and We Look To Reopening Next Year If Decision Among The Board Is Favorable ONLY AFTER

To Our Community:
It is with a heavy heart that we share this Public Statement regarding the Status of Our Rescue.

Unfortunately, after Servicing our Local Community for Over a Decade(even though the heavy load was riddled with obstacles), E.R.S.C.R is now currently dealing with a legal matter.This legal matter comes to us after E.R.S.C.R took in a few severe or emergency status animals in need.

These animals include:

*Sick felines that were abandoned in an abandoned house, surrounded by other deceased felines everywhere.

*Animals that were Underage/Bottle Feeders.

*Animals that needed temporary housing, due to the Airport & Line fires.

*Animals from the Joshua Tree Area Due to Sudden Rescue Closure.

The rescue actions we took in caring for the animals in need were misunderstood.

For that reason, our act of Caring has caused E.R.S.C.R to VOLUNTARILY turn over these animals in need to The Moreno Valley Animal Control/Riverside Animal Control Agencies At Their Behest (This action occurred back on: September 16, 2024).

Since then, a legal battle has developed against E.R.S.C.R, which includes Charges of (1) count of Hoarding & Needless Suffering, as Well as 1 Count of Animal Neglect.

Our first court date occurred on: Tuesday, April 22, 2025.

Next Trial Date is July 2nd, 2025 at 8am in Riverside Superior Court Hall Of Justice, Department 32, in Which We will begin Providing All Evidence In Our Defense.

Until the Matter is Resolved, We will have No Animals in our current care.

We apologize to our community for not being transparent with details of what is currently going on with E.R.S.C.R. At the time when transparency was requested, we were unable to provide detailed information due to restrictions from the courts. As The Court Has Now Posted This Case Into The Public Records, We Don't Hesitate To Urge You To Read The Report Shown On Court Website, Given By Animal Control Directly to DA and Public, and Then Appear In Person To See Our Collected Evidence of of Defense.

During the Duration E.R.S.C.R was Created & Active, Our primary goal was to always try to be helpful to our community in need of animal care/service. Even at times when there were no other resources available to help our community. This includes helping those in need outside of our community as well.

We ask that our community consider all the animal assistance E.R.S.C.R has given and not slander or state false information regarding this current matter.

In closing, we are hopeful that our community will gather in Support of E.R.S.C.R with a Statement/Testimony/Character Witness Letter, expressing or stating Personal Experience for what we have done for our Community Animals and the Effort we have made to be the local rescue & animal welfare advocates that tried so very hard to not turn down Any Animal Service Our Community was in Need Of.

We Issued A Suspension (Not An Annul/Disbandment) With Three Goverment Departments
(S.S / D.O.J / IRS)
On Our Legal Registered Status as A Non-Profit/Rescue Until A Legal Matter Is Handled.

As Soon As We Are Able, We Will Be Providing A Statement Of The Legal Matter We Are Handling & If We Will Re-Instate Our Non-Profit Rescue Status In The Future Or Not.
