📢 The 12U Morehead Mavericks played some ball this weekend in Mt. Sterling. They went 2-0 in pool play earning them a 1 seed and a spot in the 12U championship on Sunday where they won a tight match to bring home a championship. Way to go boys!

💣 Shoutout to Cole Stiltner and Noah Rudd for each sending one out of the park!

⭐️ Another shout out to Emmett Tackett for earning MVP honors!

📢 The 11U Morehead Mavericks took their talents to Elizabethtown for the USSSA KY State Tournament. Two gritty wins in pool play on Thursday earned them a two seed and a bye in the 12 team single elimination tournament. They faced a tough Louisville Baseball Club - Schenk and pulled out a 4-1 win to advance to the semifinals where they got down early against the Illinois Boltz but battled back, eventually falling short 6-7.

📢 The 12U Morehead Mavericks made their way to Versailles this past weekend to check out the new turf! They came out hotter than hot on Saturday and earned a 1 seed for Sunday, where they faced a tough arm on a tough team and fell short of advancing.

📢 The 8U Mavericks had a strong showing this weekend at the Third Annual Autism Awareness Tournament held at Grayson Sports Park. They went 2-0 on Saturday, earning a 2 seed for the Sunday tournament. The bats were hot all weekend but they fell just short in the championship game. A good weekend for the mini Mavs!

The 10U Mavericks ventured to Grayson Sports Park this weekend for the 3rd Annual Autism Awareness tournament. The weather was perfect, and a late Saturday night turned into an earlier Sunday morning. The boys competed, but took three on the chin. They are learning each and every time they step on the field. Keep your heads up and keep working boys!

📢 The 11U Mavericks competed in the USSSA WV State Championship this weekend in Hurricane. A 2-0 Saturday earned them a 1 seed in the top bracket for Sunday. They got down early, battled back, but let the game slip away from them in the semifinals.

⭐️ Shout-out to Tucker Brockman for earning MVP honors and Landon Thomas for hitting his third HR of the season 💣
