“Alana Beck” (played by Olivia Landsverk) and “Jared Kleinman” (played by Seth LaMont) are sources of comic relief in DEAR EVAN HANSEN, however the two characters use their neuroses, sarcasm, and hyperactive personas to hide their own deep loneliness and anxieties. They are both critical to the gripping storyline of DEAR EVAN HANSEN.
