These two pups were rescued from Fairfield County Animal Services
They are 16 weeks old, 21 lbs with severe demodex. These two guys are very timid and shy and are just terrified of everything
They have a long road ahead of them, socialization, weight gain, skin issues fixed, grow hair, potty training, but the ARRF team is up for the challenge

Kat and Einstein have spent their lives surviving. 🛟Rescued from a horrific hoarding situation where they were starved and left outdoors, these two resilient souls are now facing their biggest hurdle yet: They have nowhere to go.
Their current foster placement is ending immediately, and without a new foster, adopter, or rescue transfer, their future is uncertain.

🐾 Meet Kat (3 Years Old)
Kat is a sweet, loyal girl in a medium-sized package. 📦She’s the perfect size for car rides 🚘and—given the chance—she’ll take up exactly half of your sofa. 🛋️

🐾 Meet Einstein (2 Years Old)
Einstein is a survivor with a heart of pure gold 💛and a brain 🧠 that’s… well, mostly just static and elevator music.🎵 He may not be a genius but he is a goofy and sweet boy. 🥰

🏠 Their Needs (The Honest Truth):

Because of their past, these two aren't "typical" house pets yet. They need a patient hero who understands:

* The Great Outdoors 🏞️They lived outside for years and are not housebroken. They need a home where they can spend most of their time outdoors or in a transition space while they learn the "indoor life."

* Mealtime Management: 🍛Having survived starvation, they are protective of their food. While they’ve learned to eat near each other, they must be fed separately from other dogs for now.

* Medical Care: 🏥Both are Heartworm positive, but their treatment is already underway! They use the "slow-kill" method—a simple, inexpensive weekly medication.

* The Details: ➡️We are unsure how they are with small dogs or cats. They can be placed together or separately.
