We will be at this event in support of our neighbors in WNC! Come out and lend a hand if you are able. God bless. πβ€οΈπΊπΈπͺ
After a natural disaster, something as simple as firewood becomes a lifeline. A wood ministry isnβt just about cutting and stacking logs β itβs about restoring warmth, dignity, and stability to families who are trying to rebuild. When power is unreliable and homes are damaged, heat can mean survival. A steady supply of wood allows parents to cook meals, keep children warm, and create a small sense of normalcy in a time that feels anything but normal. Beyond the physical need, a wood ministry reminds survivors that they are not forgotten β that their community is willing to show up with hands, hearts, and hard work.
Wood ministries also bring people together in a powerful way. Volunteers form friendships while serving, neighbors reconnect, and hope spreads with every load delivered. The act of gathering, splitting, and distributing wood becomes a shared mission that strengthens the entire community. It transforms devastation into purpose and reminds everyone involved that recovery is built piece by piece, often by ordinary people doing extraordinary things.
Weβre calling on volunteers to join us this weekend, February 7th and 8th, to help continue this vital work. Whether you can swing an axe, stack wood, deliver supplies, or simply lend a hand wherever needed, your time will directly impact families still recovering. Come be part of something meaningful β your effort could be the warmth someone depends on.
