MASA and NJSA presented our first joint Executive Leadership Conference at the Hard Rock in Atlantic City. It was a great event with record attendance! MASA’s Annual Conference 2023 was a success!

On Wednesday March 15th, we enjoyed an in-person day with our staffing company owners and managers, as well as many of our great MASA Industry Partners.

Wayne Pinkstone of Ogletree Deakins provided legislative updates on State and Federal Leave laws, Equal Pay laws and Pay Transparency laws, ma*****na and drug testing, Restrictive Covenants and New Jersey’s Temporary Workers’ Bill of Rights.

Matthew Walsh, CPA of Withum shared his expertise on the latest in the Employee Retention Credit (“ERC”) and the resulting uptick in IRS audits.

Our in-person sessions included Roundtables moderated by MASA President Bill Emerson, CSP of Emerson Group, a crowd-favorite session as our members and IPs share best practices, successes, and experiences in the current industry environment. We capped off our time with a networking reception and dinners.

Thursday March 16th was a packed day of virtual sessions training our members on business development, prospecting on LinkedIn and the future of the recruiting industry. We were lucky to have virtual presenters Jim Roy of Percipio Partners, Bobbie Foedisch and Doersching of Next Level Exchange share they’re know-how with us.

Washington, DC, (January 17, 2023) – FOCUS Investment Banking (“FOCUS”), a national middle market investment banking firm providing merger, acquisition, divestiture & corporate finance services, announced that Queen Consulting Group (“Queen”), a nationally recognized IT staffing & consulting company specializing in healthcare & pharmaceutical IT, Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system implementations, financial services, & niche technical recruiting, has been acquired by Talent Group. FOCUS represented Queen in this transaction.

Queen Consulting Group was founded in 2015 by Carl Foster, who has more than 30 years of IT staffing and consulting experience. Foster joins Talent Group's senior leadership team, along with Queen Vice Presidents Jessica Doherty & Amy Migliore.
