CLUB MEETING

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 1st

At the Clubhouse: 330 Moxley Road, Uncasville, CT

The Business Meeting starts at 7:00 PM, but members typically start arriving about 6:30 PM.

It will be called to order with the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by a moment of silence for departed members and servicemen, roll call and introduction of guests.

Guests are welcome and should be prepared to introduce themselves, state the year, make and model of the bike they ride, what town they live in and how they learned about the club.

Reports from officers and committee leaders are given.

Member's ideas and concerns regarding the NLMC can be brought up for discussion during the Open Forum portion of the meeting.

New Business is next. It includes new proposals to be considered by the membership.

Under Old Business this week, we will be discussing the proposal to reduce the Executive Board from nine members to seven by making the Director of Planning and the Honor Guard Captain appointed positions. Please join us to learn more. Members are encouraged to join in the discussion.

Finally, Good of the Club is when we review recent club events, share member news and industry news.

Once the official meeting is adjourned members and guests are encouraged to stick around for light refreshments and to continue the conversation.

Great ride yesterday to The Middle of Nowhere Diner, followed by Buttonwood Ice Cream.

We practiced formations and riding on dirt roads. Yes! Dirt roads. You never know when you’ll experience less than perfect conditions. Be prepared!
