Hope Alive 845 We Are A Non Profit Organization A 501C3 Registered Through NYS As A Public Charity. We Provide Resources to our Law Enforcement and Our Community

A change is necessary when it comes to missing persons. We are advocating for that change! Here are some changes we would like see come to fruition:

Immediate response: As each hour passes, the likelihood of a missing person being found decreases. Hence, the first 48 hours of a missing person case are the most critical. Sadly, it is a common misconception that one must wait 24 hours before report

ing someone missing. This misconception is even believed by some law enforcement agencies. We would like to spread awareness about how detrimental the first hours are, and educate families on how to proceed in reporting a person missing immediately. Ability to advocate: We would like to be of assistance to families dealing with a missing person. This includes, but is not limited to, obtaining information from law enforcement agencies. We would like to be recognized as a liaison between local agencies and the families of victims of missing persons. We would also like to raise awareness for other areas to follow our lead in this regard. Outreach and Prevention: We would like to see community outreach and education in order to take preventive measures in regards to missing persons, such as self defense classes for our children and workshops to teach what to do if they are ever accosted by a stranger. Change at a higher level: We would like to see our local officials take missing cases more seriously, including congressmen and congresswomen, mayors, state senators, and local law enforcement agencies. We would also like to see local news coverage increased for any and all missing persons.

Hello My Name is Domingo Ramos and im the founder of Hope Alive 845. This all started out when i was working as a private investigator for a great company. We picked up a case back on May 29,2017 on a missing female from my area, as months and days go by i kept saying this community needs something more, But just couldn't figure out what was more. My spouse and i was sitting at the table one night and it just popped up about missing people and then it came together and Hope Alive 845 was made. We are currently running events for the missing people and getting the word out, each day a loved one goes missing, sometimes they are found but sometimes they aren't found. We need to make a change in our communities, we need to be the voice of the missing. We are here to support law enforcement and the missing persons families. Children today is our future, a human bein is someone son or daughter, we need the community to come together and join us the Hope Alive 845. We thank all the support we have been getting.
