Beauty by Fire is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) ministry devoted to serving our community and beyond by caring for the ongoing spiritual, emotional, and practical needs of widows and their minor children. Beauty by Fire is a ministry committed to serving our community by caring for the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of widows and their children, providing comfort to those suffering loss, and encouraging prayer for our community through the River Region Prayer Walk.

In October, we will be taking a break from our normal Sunday Bible Study to come together for a special discussion on finding “Hope for the Holidays.” The holidays can be a difficult time regardless of whether it’s your first year or it has been several years since you lost your husband. We hope you will join us as we come together to discuss the emotional, spiritual, and practical implications for finding hope for the holidays. Please invite a friend and RSVP so we can be sure to have enough food and resources for everyone.

Because of the generosity of our donors, one of the widows we serve recently received something she had never had before—a brand-new refrigerator.

She shared this with us:

"They delivered my refrigerator. I am so excited! I've never had a new refrigerator or a new appliance, ever. I've been thanking God and Beauty By Fire and all the blessings He's provided for me this whole time.

God has blessed me so much, and I thank Him for guiding me to join y'all. I praise God for all His blessings and for all the blessings that you have given me.

God bless you, your family, and all the members of Beauty By Fire who have helped so many widows. Not only for the gracious way that you try to help us, but for being there for us emotionally and spiritually as well. God has truly guided your group to do His service. God bless your organization and all your partners."
