Greetings,
My name is Kaylei, and I’m pursuing my Gold Award in Girl Scouts! This is the most prestigious award in Girl Scouting, and to earn it, I must identify an issue that I’m passionate about and coordinate a project to help address it. My project, entitled “Loads of Love,” will support my desire to help children who are unable to help themselves.
Maybe you know a family who has opened their home to a child in foster care? Or maybe you’ve even considered fostering yourself? Statistics show that the turnover rate for foster families is staggering, and many cite the lack of support as a reason for not choosing to continue fostering.
As a small effort to help support 57 Montgomery, Birmingham, and Tuscaloosa foster families in their selfless efforts, I’m asking you to donate to an expense that increases significantly when foster families add another person in their homes— LAUNDRY & HOUSEHOLD ITEMS!

Baskets will be made by my awesome Girl Scout Troop-- Troop 9016, and the Loads of LOVE will be delivered to these SWEET families on Valentine’s Day! Please help children in foster care by supporting the families who provide a clean and safe home for them. Thank you!
