To cap off Graduation Season, last week we celebrated the graduates of the Parent University 2026 Pilot Cohort at Chisholm Elementary! 🎓✨

Girls on FIRE was so excited to be a part of this inaugural cohort and witness families make the intentional decision to grow, learn, and invest in themselves for the benefit of their children and future generations.

Parent University was created to equip parents, grandparents & other parental figures with the tools to enhance parental engagement, strengthen family and school connections, support student achievement, and promote lifelong learning. Through this program, the participants learned how to become stronger advocates and active partners in their children’s education and that is something worth celebrating.

Parents are a child’s first teacher, and this cohort has beautifully demonstrated the importance of being lifelong learners.

Special thanks to Principal Martin for her vision, leadership, and dedication to empowering parents and strengthening our community. 💜🔥

We wrapped up the year with our favorite young ladies at West End Boys & Girls Club. These ladies definitely kept us on our toes from start to finish! 💕🔥

It has been such a joy pouring into each of them, and we pray our mentors have planted seeds of confidence, strength, and wisdom that will that they will carry with them.

On Wednesday, our mentors had the incredible opportunity to participate in Career Day at LIFE Academy, and the impact was truly unforgettable. Watching empowered women pour into the next generation through encouragement, wisdom, and real-life experiences was inspiring to witness.

Representation matters, and seeing strong, confident women share their journeys reminded students that their dreams are possible and their futures are bright. Moments like these plant seeds of confidence, leadership, and purpose that can last a lifetime.

Thank you to every mentor who showed up, shared their story, and helped ignite passion and possibility in our students. The future is brighter because of women who lead, inspire, and uplift.

Today marked our final session of the semester with our amazing ladies at Bellingrath Middle School 💚

This year, we poured into topics like self-control, setting goals, loving yourself, establishing healthy boundaries, bullying, being a leader & personal hygiene.

We established Girls on F.I.R.E. to be more than just a program, but to also be a safe space. We want to build confidence, make sure our girls feel like their voices are heard, and their self-esteem is strengthened.

Our girls are leaving not only with tools to grow, but with trusted mentors they know they can talk to, lean on, and be encouraged by.

We are so proud of each young lady and excited to see them continue to walk boldly in who they are becoming.

March is Women’s History Month. As a major part of our initiatives we celebrate the power, resilience, and impact of women who have paved the way before us.

This month, our girls learned about influential women leaders from all walks of life and explored the qualities that make a strong leader such as confidence, courage, integrity, and compassion.

More importantly, we reminded them that leadership doesn’t start “one day”… it starts right now. Each of them already has the power to make a difference in their schools, their communities, and the world.

The future is bright because they are in it. ✨
