A Special Father’s Day Moment at the State Tournament ⚾❤️
Baseball is about so much more than balls and strikes. Today, on Father’s Day, we were fortunate to witness something truly special as a father and son took the field together to officiate a State Tournament game.
The lessons learned, memories made, and time spent side by side are what make this game great. To see a love for baseball passed from one generation to the next—and to have the opportunity to share the field on such a meaningful day—is something neither of them will ever forget.
From all of us at Alabama DYB, Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, grandfathers, and father figures who invest their time in our youth. And a special congratulations to this father-son umpire duo for creating a memory that will last a lifetime.
