Our Main Street Montgomery Director is pictured with David Babb and Tiffany Merritt from the City’s Urban Forestry Department. They donated 6 Shumard Oaks as part of our Rotary Park Spruce Up. Main Street (and Ashley!) are on the move.

Last Monday our Main Street Board invited businesses, residents, stakeholders, and friends to a Meet & Greet with our new Executive Director, Ashley Jernigan.

Guest were invited for Happy Hour RickE’s networking in the courtyard NewSouth Bookstore, before heading inside. Kids had the opportunity to gather at the MAP360 Gallery at 1 Court Sq for some fun at the Children’s Museum Montgomery opup.

Once inside the bookstore gathering space, Ashley shared her vision for the organization and ways everyone can get involved to make Downtown Montgomery everything we all desire it to be.

We here at Main Street Montgomery wanted to share updates from the Mayor’s Office that impact our neighborhood and all the citizens of Montgomery.

In our executive board meeting that wrapped just prior to this press conference, we discussed the need to share more poignant data with the folks in our community and those who are interested in contributing to its progress — hopefully, all of you.

Progress isn’t linear. But, we are always hopeful. We invite you to join us, and those who tirelessly work to make Montgomery the great place she is.
