The Children's Policy Council partnered with Martin Luther King Elementary School to form a third-grade book club, MLK Book Warriors. The purpose of the club is to promote literacy, a love for reading and social and developmental interaction.

On June 15,2023, The Children's Policy Council and Montgomery Juvenile Court presented a $6,000 donation to the Kershaw YMCA to support its Bellxcell Powers Scholars Academy. The Power Scholar Academy is a holistic learning experience that blends academics with enrichment, social-emotional skills development, and community engagement. The programs' goals are to increase scholars' literacy and math skills, mitigate summer learning, increase parental engagement, and promote problem-solving, critical thinking, and social interaction. The program is free to students. Over ninety students participated in the program this summer.
