A reminder about donations -- particularly those dropped off on the sidewalk
Although I appreciate your generosity, you need to consider that you may have been the last stop for your furniture. When you know where the stains come from and when the hair came from your own pet, that is one thing. When the origin of the stains and pet hair are a mystery, nobody wants to bring the items into their homes. Items that are broken or torn will not get mended by the next person.
I know that there will always be some questionable items. After all, we're dealing with used furniture. However, lately I've had to dispose of far more of the dropped off items than I've been able to give away.

A couple more requests/reminders:
We don't have the room or the demand for decorative items -- especially decorative glassware. Those items should go to a thrift store, please. Also, the best way to reach us is via text at 320-226-5845. I am pretty faithful in responding to texts.

While we appreciate and rely on donations, items that are broken, ripped or stained have to be disposed of at a cost to us. We don't have the resources to clean, mend and fix things.

I don't charge for anything and I don't get anything for my time, gas or mileage. When people drop off items like this that are clearly garbage, I have to pay to dispose of them. Not only is that not sustainable -- it also takes the joy out of helping others.
