These 6 dogs are the first-ever Timber Tails K9 Rescue pups heading to prison! You read that right.

Cyrus, Benny, Gretchen, Brody, Saint, and Nutmeg are officially launching our partnership with the Freedom Tails Program—a program that changes lives on both ends of the leash.

📅 Incarceration Date: January 8th
⏳ Sentence: 12 weeks

Over the three months they are in prison, these dogs will receive consistent training, structure, confidence-building, and lots of love—while providing purpose, responsibility, and hope to the incarcerated handlers working with them.

⚠️ Road Closure Update – US Highway 101 ⚠️

During the evening hours of Monday, December 16, a hillside gave way, causing a landslide that blocked US Highway 101 just north of milepost 330.

🚧 The roadway remains closed in the Hoodsport area at the following locations:
• South end: N Finch Creek
• North end: Glen Ayr Resort

➡️ Detour Route:
SR 119 to N Jorstad Creek Rd via FS-24 Rd

⚠️ Important Safety Reminder:
We are experiencing several drivers attempting to bypass posted road closure signs. These closures are in place for your safety and the safety of emergency crews and road workers. Obey all road closure signs and barriers. Driving around them is dangerous and may result in enforcement action.

For the most current and accurate updates regarding this closure and reopening efforts, please continue to refer to WSDOT.

Only today and tomorrow left to buy raffle tickets for the Centralia Police K9 Association gun raffle! These tickets are $10 each and available at our front counter or East County Guns in Centralia. The drawing will take place December 12th at 5:00 pm!

Money raised goes directly to K9 Havik and K9 Hector. Our K9 program is run entirely by donations.
