As a distinguished representative of the North Atlantic Region and a proud member of Rho Mu Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, she exemplifies the ideals of service, scholarship, sisterhood, and leadership that continue to inspire generations.

It’s She Leads Wednesday! 🩷💚
Today, we’re spotlighting Toni Morrison. Initiated into the Alpha Chapter at Howard University, Morrison was an acclaimed author, editor, professor, and one of the most influential literary voices of her generation.
Through celebrated works including The Bluest Eye, Song of Solomon, and Beloved, Morrison placed the richness and complexity of the Black experience at the center of American literature. In 1988, Beloved earned the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction, and in 1993, Morrison made history as the first Black woman to receive the Nobel Prize in Literature.
Her words transformed literature and continue to inspire generations of readers and writers. 🌟
