Cluster III brought the energy to Long Island, New York! 🩷💚
Members of the North Atlantic Region gathered for a day of leadership, learning, service, and sisterly connections. From engaging sessions to meaningful fellowship, the conference strengthened our bonds and renewed our commitment to service.
Members also collected 600 duffle bags filled with essential items to support children and teens in foster care. Donations will benefit eight organizations, including Nassau County Department of Social Services, The Salvation Army of Westbury, Mercy First, EAC Network, Hope for Youth, SCO Family of Services, St. Brigid Parish Outreach, and The Leeds Place. Through leadership, fellowship, and meaningful service, Cluster III continues to show what it means to be Champions who RISE!

Every child deserves to feel safe, protected, and heard. 💜
As we continue raising awareness about domestic violence and its impact on families, we turn our attention to children. Abuse and neglect often go unreported, making it even more important for adults to recognize warning signs, listen without judgment, and create safe spaces for children to speak up.
Protecting children is a responsibility we all share. Awareness matters. Action matters.

Today, we're spotlighting Edwidge Danitacat, Novelist. Initiated into the Theta Psi Omega Chapter in Rhode Island, Edwidge Danticat is one of the most influential Haitian-American writers of her generation. Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, she has dedicated her literary career to sharing stories that explore identity, family, migration, resilience, and the experiences of the Haitian diaspora. Edwidge Danticat's legacy is defined not only by her award-winning books, but also by her commitment to preserving cultural memory, inspiring future writers, and fostering greater understanding of the Haitian experience through storytelling. 🌟

The impact of COVID-19 extended far beyond the public health crisis. 💜
For Black women experiencing intimate partner violence, the pandemic brought additional challenges, including financial strain, housing insecurity, and increased vulnerability.
As we continue recognizing Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the North Atlantic Region is highlighting how these challenges contributed to an already troubling disparity.
Understanding the impact is an important part of raising awareness and supporting those affected.

The reception honoring International Second Vice President Noah M.P. Harris, of the Eta Chapter at Bowie State University, was filled with memorable moments!
Musical selections, dance performances, and special presentations from International Leadership highlighted the celebration, while members of the Eta Chapter joined in paying tribute to one of their own.
The occasion was a wonderful reflection of the love, support, and pride surrounding Sister Noah as she continues to represent the North Atlantic Region on the international stage. 🩷💚
